Bart Robbins D.O.

Bart Robbins D.O.

I was born in southern California as the 3rd of 9 children. Growing up in a large family I had lots of “opportunities” to babysit and take care of my younger siblings. I still tease my brothers about changing their diapers, even though one is now an Anesthesiologist and the other is a pilot for Southwest Airlines. I believe my love for children started then. My family moved to the Valley of the Sun as I was starting high school and I lived there until I graduated with honors from Arizona State University in 1993. I moved my family to Fort Worth the following year to attend medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. My daughters were 1 and 3 years old at that time. Four years later I graduated with a Master’s degree from the physiology department in addition to my Doctor of Osteopathy degree. I then spent the next 3 years in Amarillo completing my pediatric residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. In 2001 I opened my practice in Weatherford and have had the joy of caring for Parker County children since that time.

I am a graduate from Weatherford High School and started working for Dr. Robbins as a receptionist in January 2002. I really enjoy my job and love the fact I get to interact with kids all day. I have 3 wonderful children and they attend Weatherford ISD. My oldest is now 15 and in the tenth grade and has been a patient of Dr. Robbins since 2002.

I have been working for Robbins Pediatrics since 2012 and really enjoy it. It’s always exciting to see all the new babies, watch them grow and help parents. I was born in Michigan and moved to Weatherford in 2005 with my parents. I graduated from Weatherford High School and then attended Weatherford College.  I have two beautiful girls that attend Weatherford schools and have been seeing Dr. Robbins since they were infants.
